Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Helios Systems (“Helios”, “we”) operates the Helios regulatory-intelligence platform. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Contact for anything in this policy: contact@heliosystems.eu.

2. Data we process about visitors and users

  • Website visitors — we do not run analytics trackers or advertising cookies on this site. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) are kept briefly for security and operations.
  • Contact — if you email us, we process your name, address and message to respond.
  • Console accounts — for authorised client users we process name, work email and authentication records, to provide and secure the service. Analyst actions in the platform are logged for auditability.

3. Data in our intelligence service

The service collects publicly available information about online gambling operations: web pages, advertisements, application-store listings and news coverage. This can incidentally include personal data that businesses publish about themselves, such as business contact details or an advertiser's name. We process it on the basis of legitimate interest — supporting regulatory oversight of online gambling — and we collect only what is publicly displayed: Helios does not track individuals, does not build consumer profiles, and does not process special-category data.

4. Sharing and processors

We share data only with the client the work is performed for, and with the infrastructure and data providers that operate under contract for us (cloud hosting and third-party data sources). We do not sell personal data. Where processing happens outside the EEA, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

Collected observations are retained for as long as needed to support the regulatory purpose they were collected for, including as tamper-evident evidence records. Account data is kept for the life of the client relationship; server logs are kept briefly.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, object to or ask us to restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If information about your business appears in our service and you believe it is inaccurate, write to contact@heliosystems.eu — we will review and respond.

7. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date.
